"Please read and sign below: I have been advised that this is a legally binding contract, with legal consequences and I have been advised to read it carefully and thoroughly. In submitting this application, I hereby make known that I will hold blameless in the case of accident, injury, or damage of any kind the WHIMPs Mountain Bike Coalition (henceforth known as WHIMPs MBC), its officers, members and volunteers. I recognize that bicycling is potentially dangerous, and I represent that I am a competent cyclist with safe equipment. I understand that I participate in club activities at my own risk., I further recognize that safety is my personal responsibility and I agree to participate in keeping all WHIMPs MBC group rides and trail work outings safe. Helmets are required on all group rides. Applicable safety equipment and protection is required at all trail work outings. All participants on WHIMPs MBC group rides and trail work outings must be WHIMPs MBC Members and/or sign the WHIMPs Mountain Bike Coalition group ride and trail work outing waiver. IF ANY NON-MEMBER FAILS TO SIGN A WAIVER THE GROUP RIDE OR TRAIL WORK OUTING WILL CEASE TO BE A WHIMPs MBC group ride or trail work outing.
